About Julie
I’m a psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker with nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals in navigating stress, self-doubt, anxiety, and life transitions. Born in Argentina, raised in Winnipeg, trained in Los Angeles at UCLA and CSUN, and now back to Canadian winters in Ontario.
The Comeback Therapy is rooted in the belief that we’re always returning to our authentic selves, especially following periods of fear, self-doubt, trauma, or emotional overwhelm. Therapy isn’t about fixing—it’s about understanding and appreciating the patterns that once helped you cope, and learning new ways to live with greater clarity and self-trust moving forward.

Approaches
Some of our approaches to help you come back to yourself:

EMDR
EMDR helps the brain process past experiences (big 'T' or smaller 't' trauma) that remain “stuck” in the nervous system and drive anxiety or reactivity. As the emotional charge softens, people often feel more regulated, grounded, and able to respond from the present.

CBT
CBT helps identify and shift thought patterns and behaviors that reinforce anxiety, self-doubt, and distress. With practice, people learn to respond more skillfully in the present rather than automatically from fear.

IFS-informed
IFS helps you understand and compassionately work with the parts of you that developed to protect you but now contribute to anxiety, self-criticism, or feeling stuck. As these parts feel heard and supported, people often experience greater regulation, self-trust, and inner safety.
